Your Eye Health Is Our Highest Priority!

The doctors at Dixon Eyecare Associates are highly trained to diagnosis and treat eye diseases. Among these are ocular surface disease, eye dryness, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, eye infections, iritis, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. In addition, the doctors are highly trained in the treatment of eye injuries such as corneal abrasions and removal of foreign bodies.

The doctors utilize the technology of Optomap, an ultra-widefield retinal imaging system that provides up to a 200 degree image of the back of the eye. With this technology, many retinal diseases may be detected that would otherwise be difficult to visualize with standard technology. Careful examination of the inside of the eye may reveal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, and retinal tears and detachments.

Dixon Eyecare Associates Has the Latest Technology

The doctors also utilize the technology of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for imaging the central portion of the back of the eye. The OCT provides many details of the structure and function of the inner eye, and allows visualization of retinal details never before observed.  With this technology, retinal conditions such as macular degeneration, macular holes, macular membranes, and diabetic macular changes may be detected and evaluated.
